This notice explains how PLAYBOOK LTD ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data through byplaybook.com and when you contact us. We keep it short and plain. If anything is unclear, email hello@byplaybook.com.
Who we are
PLAYBOOK LTD is the controller of your personal data. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 12108128, at 11–12 Old Bond Street, Mayfair, London W1S 4PN. ICO registration number: [ICO number].
What we collect

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website. We do not buy personal data or add you to marketing lists without asking.
Our lawful basis
- Replying to enquiries and preparing proposals: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- Client work: performance of our contract with you or your organisation.
- Server logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
- Legal and accounting records: our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf and under contract:
- Hostinger hosts this website and its server logs, provides our email, and delivers form submissions.
- Dropbox stores and shares project files.
We do not sell your data. We only share it with anyone else if the law requires it. If a provider stores data outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects: 12 months from our last contact, then deleted.
- Client project records: 6 years after the project ends, for legal and accounting reasons.
- Server logs: kept by our host for a limited period, typically no more than 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to transfer it to you or another organisation. Email hello@byplaybook.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Our website links to Instagram, LinkedIn and Google Maps. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.
Changes
We will update this notice if how we use personal data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
